Welcome to Open Sessions

🎪 What are Open Sessions?

OPEN SESSIONS are typically stand-alone workshops that are available to any of our MEMBERS. Workshops will typically last from one hour to two hours and will include games, play, and dramatic improvisation. If you request a workshop, you can ask for particular related skills to be covered and we will do our best to oblige.

👥 Who Can Join?

Becoming a member of BELT is easy; just complete the form, and you will then be able to sign up to one of our upcoming workshops. You could even get together with other members to request a workshop.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Who are BELT Members?

BELT members are made up of:

• Former youth theatre members
• Previous participants of our training programmes
• People coming to us through word of mouth who are just curious
• People of all ages and experience
• Those who wish to improve their English to budding performers and actors

🗓️ When & Where?

Sessions are announced on our website and social media. Most take place at Children's Cultural Centre, Takovska 8, Belgrade, but we also use other venues as needed.

🎓 Experience Required?

For most of our OPEN WORSHOPS no previous knowledge of or experience of drama is necessary, although some of our more specialist workshops will require some experience.

🌍 Language Requirements?

Generally, yes, the better your English the more fun you will have, but we will be offering a limited amount of ‘Elementary English’ workshops and workshops in Serbian.

💝 Cost?

BELT membership is completely FREE! Workshops are funded by voluntary donations from participants – contribute what you can, when you can.

• Regular weekly youth theatre classes

• One-off workshops for schools and teachers
• Team-building projects
• EU-funded projects with various partners
